SuzieQ

I think the hardest part of pulling this card together was uploading the photo to this website...third time's a charm! LOL
I used:
SuzieQ - Owl Whimsy, of course! ;o)
Paper - Sunshine Specialty Pack by me & my BiG ideas torn & layered for grass & sky effect
Tree - Wild Card Cartridge cut at 5 1/2", layer and 'blinged' with Stickles (Cinnamon and Green)
Sun - Glossy cardstock brayered with SU ink and punched with Martha Stewart circle punch
Copics: E50, E31, RV04 and V15

awesome work!

Everyone is doing a great job!! I will be taking one creation from each of you that uses SuzieQ Diva and placing it on the main blog tomorrow along with the challenge, which this week will just be to use SuzieQ in something, anything at all...

As for who will win the challenge, how do we want to do that? Because I know a lot of people just use Mr. Linky or draw names, but I was thinking about picking the one we like the best??? Maybe each week, it could be a different Design Team member's pick?? What do you think about that? Do you think that is fair or no??

Also, I have my website up now for people to purchase the DigiStamps! http://www.owlwhimsy.com.

We also need to start thinking about next week, because I would like to be a week ahead. Would you like to do a sketch or some other type of challenge?

Steph

Another one of the Suzie Q Diva images which I really love. I found this clip art branch a while ago and while colouring her today, I thought this branch would be perfect for her to sit on. The stamped sentiment is Studio G Designer clear stamp, black gel pen doodles around the edges and some yellow satin ribbon.

I love this Suzie Q Diva image - she has a real attitude doesn't she? A bit like what ever :) I have used Dovecraft Wild Blossoms papers, with raspberry cardstock, card candy silver dots from Craftwork cards and the Teenager description which I made on the computer. I think Suzie Q is really funky and she is going to appeal to a really wide audience.

Suzie Q Diva

I made this match book card with Stampin' Up's Chocolate Chip, and Pretty in Pink Card Stock. I printed Suzie Q on Gina K's 80lb Card Stock and colored her with my Copics. I used the Stampin' Up scalloped edge punch for the scallop's and the Cupcake paper is from a Craft's Beautiful magazine I purchased on the news stand this winter in Milwaukee at Border's Book Store. I hope you like her! Elaine

Hello! I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Paula Goff but most probably know me by "Inking Addict". I am thrilled to be a part of the new design team from Owl Whimsy.

Working with Digi images is a first for me so you will have to bear with me until I get my feet wet.

This frist card I used the new image "Betty" I am trying to keep my cards really simple until I get the feel for the different images.

Products Used:
Cardstock- New Leaf (Paper Trey Ink)
Whisper White (Stampin'Up!)
Ink- New Leaf (Paper Trey Ink)
Ribbon - New Leaf (Paper Trey Ink)

Betty would like to wish everyone a Happy Birthday. My 11 year old granddaughter needed a quick birthday card. She chose Betty. She chose the colors I had to use also.

Happy Birthday saying (Birthday Basics Paper Trey Ink)

I hope you have enjoyed these digital images as much as I have. Paula

Organizing

Ok, so I am trying to get this all organized for Monday. So, what I want to do is this, and let me know if it is too much lol:

Post your cards for Monday's challenge here at this blog (These will be the SuzieQ Diva this week).

I will them load them up to my original Owl Whimsy blog along with the challenge for the week.

I will also post the link to the challenge at the Paper Craft Planet group, this way we get the word out there even more.

On the PCP group, we can post any cards made with the images, and I will be posting SNEAK PEAKS for sets to come!

I will start working on "props" for the girls today!:)

Let me know if you have any questions!:)

Hi My name is Jean and I am now a member of the Owl Whimsy design team :) - how cool is that.

I am using Betty from the newest set which is to be released soon - she looks like a gal who loves a night out on the town! I thought I would add some funky stockings to her with a black gel pen and throw in some peel off shoes to complete the look. The sentiment can be made using Acme Labelmaker, the papers are from Papermania and Dovecraft.

Diana Diva

I just finished making this for Diana. Diana is 11 and will be my future Granddaughter. We have a blast together and it has been love at first site for both of us. When we are together...we smile, laugh, and giggle so I thought that it was quite appropriate to put that on her card... and.... we get into trouble!!! As Antonio says...we can't sleep in the same room as we would talk all night! When I was picking out paper's for this card, I had to use purple as that is her favorite color and she ALWAYS has something glittery on so I decided to use the glittery beads hanging in the background, I think she will like that. I have been teaching her how to make cards and she loves making them. The awning, Diana, and the heart are all popped up at different level's with dimensional's. This one is for you honey. Miss you! Love, Grammy

Suzie Q Diva

Hi! My name is Elaine Wilson and I am on the Owl Whimsy Design Team! Woohoo!!! I am loving all the new stamps and having a blast playing with them. When I saw the Suzie Q Diva's I absolutely fell in love with them. I play "Auntie" to lots of kids in my life besides the kids that I really am a Aunt too and both of Stephanie's new sets are perfect for the little girls in my life! I sat down to color this morning and started doing hair and out fits in the girl's favorite color's and will be posting more of those projects later on. Life got in the way today and I did not get to play till now. To be fair, and not hurt any of the girls feelings, I decided not make something with one of them till later. They will love seeing themselves on here! So here is my 1st project with the New Diva! I hope you like it...I will be back later! Elaine
